Left of Lansing Podcast–Episode 25: Julia Pulver, Democratic Candidate For Michigan's 39th District State House Seat

Hello to my fellow LoLers, and Happy 2020!

I’m finally back with a new(er) episode of the podcast devoted to Michigan’s progressive political movement!

I’m sorry that I’ve been away for quite awhile, but I’ve been around. If you follow me on Twitter, you know that I’m always around.

It’s the 25th episode of the podcast, and I’m thrilled Julia Pulver is on this week. Julia fell just short of flipping a state senate seat from red-to-blue in 2018. She almost pulled-it-off by actually doing the dirty work of knocking on doors, and talking WITH the people in her district.

Despite that close loss, Julia is back and running for the state house seat in Michigan’s 39th district.

Learn more about Julia Pulver and why she’d be a great progressive voice in the Michigan Legislature, visit her site: https://www.juliapulver.com/

I also discuss why turning Michigan’s state legislature from red-to-blue is just as important as the presidential race in 2020. Plus, I have a few words on that green ooze that spilled onto I-696 last month, and how it’s a perfect metaphor of Michigan’s Republican leadership.

Thanks again for listening, and again, I’m sorry for being away for so long. I’ll try to do my best to prevent that from happening in the near future.

Enjoy!

Pat
