A new Left of Lansing Podcast is finally posted!
I explain why I’ve been away for a little while in the opening monologue. I apologize, but life gets in the way sometimes. The goal is to get back to a weekly podcast.
I recently wrote about a progressive podcast that’s devoted to Michigan politics, and how it’s become mandatory listening for me. The Michigan Policast is an insightful weekly podcast by Walt Sorg, Amy Kerr Hardin, and Christine Barry.
And I’m thrilled Christine Barry decided to take some time out of her busy schedule to join me on this week’s podcast. Please, subscribe to The Michigan Policast, and don’t forget to follow Christine on Twitter!
I lament about how it’s time for progressives to fight back with guts and moral clarity, and to ignore calls for “civility” since the corporate right wing doesn’t play by the same rules.
And I also talk about how fewer college students in Michigan are choosing the teaching profession. It’s really not hard to understand why.
Oh, I also give a shout-out to state Senator Dayna Polehanki of Livonia on denouncing the Devos-backed GOP third grade reading law.
